Due to the snow day tomorrow, all extracurricular activities are cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
Next Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, is the Short Line School Christmas concert for students in grades Kindergarten through 4th. ALL students are welcome to participate. Participation is not required but encouraged. Students will be performing pieces that they have been working on over the last couple of months. In addition to the concert, there will be student-made artwork displayed throughout the foyer, entry way and gymnasium. The band's concert will follow the elementary concert. Students have been working VERY hard on their artwork and music selections. Please come out to support them. We hope to see everyone there!

Our girl's and boy's basketball teams both tip-off their seasons today in a Mason-Dixon Conference clash at Rivesville with the girl's tipping-off at 6pm and the boy's tipping off afterwards at 7pm. We wish good luck to both of our teams as they start their seasons.

Our fourth and fifth grade Spanish students have written letters to students in Spain. The students in Spain will write letters back, creating international pen-pals! Thank you to Ms. Lopez for organizing this great activity for our students.

Short Line School held its annual Veterans' Day program on November 10th. Over 50 guests celebrated with all of us. Short Line School staff and students would like to say "Thank You" to all of those who have served and honor those who could not celebrate with us.







On Thursday, November 13th, SLS will celebrate World Kindness Day and Mr. Roger's Cardigan Day. There are three ways you can participate: wear a cardigan, wear a kindness shirt, or spread kindness. This is a JEANS day for staff. Thank you

A huge thank you to all the staff and students who contributed to the Short Line School Food Drive.
The "Need a hat" Nahwall has made its appearance at Short Line School, offering hats and gloves to anyone who may be in need.
This is a reminder that the Short Line School Veteran's Day program is this coming Monday, November 10th. If you have not RSVP'd yet, please do so by Friday at noon. All veterans in our community are welcome! For the program, we ask that students wear red, white and/or blue!
