Hundred High School and Long Drain School worked together to welcome their students back to school. LDS Principal Jeremy Kelch and HHS Principal Dan Wilson teamed up for the event. The Hundred Family Support Center is pictured. The support center provided students with new shoes and other items to start their school year. HHS and LDS provided students with backpacks, school supplies, Hornet shirts and gave out prizes. The Long Drain staff met with students and had books and other fun items for the students. The HHS Cheerleading Squad showed their spirit by painting student's faces. The Hundred Library was a proud partner in the event. The Burton Clinic provided information to families for the upcoming school year. Principal Kelch and his wife Lisa, organized yard games for the students and arranged food trucks for the event. Wetzel County Schools Technology Integration Specialist Holly Cain helped students with Schoology and got parents registered in the Raptor system. HHS teacher and Technology Student Association advisor Sean Snedden provided students with information about our outstanding TSA program offered at both schools. Principal Wilson was asked about the event, and he said, "I am excited to start the school year. It was great to see the community support our students. It is going to be an awesome school year."
